Gino Vannelli – Appaloosa (Live – Mark Craney On Drums – 1979)
It’s great to see and hear Mark Craney playing this live. to be honest, I don’t care for the live arrangements of “Appaloosa” that Gino likes. I prefer the album version. Gino doesn’t consult with me LOL
Gino Vannelli – I Just Wanna Stop (Mark Craney On Drums)
Perfect.
Gino Vannelli – Brother To Brother Live – Mark Craney On Drums
Awesome live rendition of “Brother To Brother”, drummer Mark Craney absolutely knocking it out of the park. Awesome!
Mark Craney (1952-2005)
Mark Craney was a professional drummer who played with bands and performers such as Gino Vannelli, Jethro Tull, Jean Luc Ponty, Tower Of Power, Tommy Bolin and many many others.
I was particularly influenced in my drumming by his work with Gino Vannelli and Jean Luc Ponty.
I will be posting some video and audio of Mark later today.
Rest In Peace Mark you are terribly missed.
Gino Vannelli – Santa Rosa
Gino Vannelli – People I Belong To
RIP Mark Craney. You are missed.
“I know this world won’t change for me
The special things in life are free
I’ve always known and understood
There are people I belong to for good”
Gino Vannelli – It Hurts to Be in Love
